Originally written by Roger Nichols and Paul Williams, Richard Carpenter's arrangement of this piece has always inspired a sense of hope within myself, as well as in my dear friend, Sarah Wojcik. Being a favorite song of ours, Sarah asked me to arrange it for piano and solo voice for her senior recital, and I could not have been more eager to take on the challenge! Sarah can be seen here delivering a stunning debut performance of this arrangement.
